Alfreton Town Council is pleased to announce that the external audit for the financial year 2024/2025 has been completed by PKF Littlejohn LLP.
The auditors have confirmed that the Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR) has been prepared “in accordance with proper practices” and that no matters have been raised for concern.
This outcome reflects the Council’s continued commitment to sound financial management, transparency, and strong governance. It provides assurance to residents that public funds are being managed responsibly and in full compliance with statutory requirements.
The certified AGAR and the Notice of Conclusion of Audit have already been published on the Council’s website in accordance with the Accounts and Audit Regulations.
