Timms Solicitors is delighted to announce three key appointments across the firm to support its on-going growth.
Solicitors Charlotte Day and Jessica Barnett and Head of Residential Conveyancing, Katie Holmes, have all been promoted to Senior Associate this month.
Charlotte qualified as a Solicitor in 2016 and joined Timms in August 2018. She was made Associate in 2022 and is currently Head of Wills & Probate at the Swadlincote office, where she runs a busy team of 12 staff.
Award-winning Jessica, who scooped the Derby and District Law Society’s Junior Lawyer of the Year 2022, qualified as a Solicitor in 2020, and has been an Associate Solicitor in the Private Family Team after finding a love for Family Law.
Based across both the Derby and Burton office, Jessica’s experience includes complex cases relating to arrangements for the care of children as well as divorce and financial matters for both married and unmarried couples.
Head of Residential Conveyancing, Katie Holmes, has worked at Timms since 2012 and runs the 11-srong conveyancing team across all four offices in Derby’s Cathedral Quarter, Burton-upon-Trent, Swadlincote and Ashby. Katie studied Law at Sheffield Hallam University and graduated with Honours in 2009.
