A Victorian building, surrounded by beautiful countryside is home to Matlock Bath Aquarium. With seven attractions for the price of one, there’s so much more than fish.
See if you can spot Dory and Nemo and visit the terrapins in their brand new home, before dropping in on the thermal pool, which is where Koi Carp are currently being bred. Next stop is the petrifying well where objects gradually turned to stone after being sprayed with the thermal water.
If that’s not enough there’s one of the largest hologram displays in Europe, where images move and float in front of you, an extensive gemstone and fossil collection and over 1700 pieces of Goss and Crested China. Phew!
