Get ready for Britain’s Caribbean King of Pop Billy Ocean with very special guest Marti Pellow, and Katrina of Katrina and the Waves.

Derby’s event of the summer is back with a with a star-studded line up – get ready as international stars take to the Darley Park Weekender stage for 2026.

Britain’s Caribbean King of Pop Billy Ocean will kick off the weekend with his distinct sound which conquered the global charts. Achieving phenomenal worldwide success the Trinidad born, 75 year old, R&B singers breakthrough came in the mid-70s with hits like Love Really Hurts Without You and Red Light Spells Danger.

Adding to the excitement 90s heartthrob Marti Pellow, joins as very special guest! Best known as the iconic lead singer of Wet Wet Wet, Marti’s defining voice drove the band to global success. In 1994, the legendary hit Love Is All Around caused a flutter across the nation, famously staying at the top of the UK charts for an incredible 15 weeks. Now, Marti brings his acclaimed solo career and established status as a leading man in musical theatre to the stage.

Joining the line up for 2026 is Katrina, formerly of Katrina & The Waves with a set of pure pop melodies and a toe tapping beats, ready to get the crowd going with her band of 20 years.

Mark Angels will be taking to the decks to bring his unique energy and floor filling tracks which has proved popular at previous Darley Park Weekender events.

Local band Cassette Roulette, will be kicking off the party, playing music that people want to get up and dance to.
