The walk starting location is from Foremark Reservoir National Trust car park. Free parking for NT members, £3.50 for four hours parking.
Free toilets are available at the starting point along with coffee and tea.

From the car park we will be circumnavigating the reservoir where we will have the opportunity to see some fantastic views.
Around 90% of the walk is on well established pathways which are mostly dry. Perhaps three areas where boots will get muddy, and a few slight hills which can be slippery underfoot.
Mostly gates connect the fields, thankfully no cows, just horses, and 5 stiles, but overall easy to overcome. In total it’s around 6.8 miles (11km)
