The District Council’s 2026 Matlock Bath Illuminations season will go on sale online from Friday 1st May.
The season will start with a Preview Night on Saturday 12th September and the Illuminations will then run every Saturday and Sunday from the following weekend (19th and 20th September), closing on Sunday 1st November. Look out for another long final weekend including Friday 30th October.
The fabulous Matlock Bath Venetian Boat Builders will be the stars of the show as always. Their decorated and illuminated boats will parade on the River Derwent at every Illuminations night, plus we will have fireworks finales on every October Saturday and Sunday 1st November.
