Entrants to Procession please gather on the Recreation ground by 2pm Judging Starts at 2pm Crowning of Carnival Queen at 2:30pm Procession Starts at 3pm There will be Classic Cars, Bouncy Castle, Food Stalls and Funfair available in town. All roads in and out of bakewell will be closed between 3pm and 4:30pm to all traffic. Town centre Parking is available and there is a large car park on the agricultural centre too. Entertainment in the way of Marching Bands, Dance Troops and Majorette’s and the renowned Billerettes will be performing both on the Recreation Ground and in the Parade. Entrance to the Recreation Ground is off the A6 opposite the Texaco Petrol Station, or on Foot by following the river down from bakewell bridge to the entrance to the park and then turning to your right once the park opens up in front of you.
