Vaillant Live, Derby’s home of live events and entertainment, is proud to announce its first anniversary celebration, We Are One, curated by BBC Introducing East Midlands and Dean Jackson. The event will be completely free to attend and will mark an incredibly successful year of bringing entertainment, community, and culture together in the heart of the city of Derby.
The event takes place on Saturday 6 June 2026 and will be a full-day celebration showcasing the very best in emerging grassroots and local talent alongside a vibrant programme of family-friendly activities and discounted food and drink offerings – similar to their first-ever event last year.
The one-year anniversary celebration will feature:
- Live performances from local acts and bands in collaboration with BBC Introducing East Midlands.
- Free family-friendly activities and stalls running throughout the day, ensuring entertainment for all ages.
- A welcoming, community-focused atmosphere celebrating music, creativity, and local culture.
- Fantastic discounted food and drink offerings with vegetarian and vegan options available.
Tickets for We Are One are free, but must be booked in advance online. Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult 18 and over.
On the day, local charity, Bridge The Gap, is the event charity partner, and will be present on the day raising funds for their cause. Bridge The Gap are a mental health charity that supports children and families with vital mental health resources, workshops, and 1:1 support. The venue sponsor, Vaillant, is donating an incredible £1,000 to this charity that does life-changing work in the area.
Since opening its doors in May 2025, Vaillant Live has quickly established itself as a cornerstone of Derby’s live entertainment scene, bringing in household names such as John Bishop, Jess Glynne, Simple Minds, Rag N’ Bone Man, and many more. This milestone event reflects the venue’s ongoing commitment to bring the best in live entertainment and engaging the wider community.

Doors for the We Are One event will open early in the day from 11am, with activities and performances scheduled throughout, offering attendees the opportunity to enjoy a day of music, local talent and a fun festival atmosphere from start to finish.
Emerging artists, including ALCHEMY, Zayla Ren, Taylor Liam Jackson, Lucy Crisp, and others, will be performing on the BBC Introducing East Midlands stage.
